This webinar proposes an in-depth, neuropsychological and rating scale approach to executive functions assessment that goes beyond a simple assessment of executive functions. The data resulting from an in-depth assessment will help determine whether the examinee lacks specific executive function skills or has the skills but does not apply them. The presentation includes a review of the new McCloskey Executive Functions Scale (MEFS), an in-depth rating scale. The webinar also discusses the impact of executive functions on cognitive functions, achievement, and academic performance. The webinar concludes with a brief review of evidence-based interventions that address specific executive weaknesses.
