Intended Audience:  Improving inclusive education requires a partnership between gen ed and special ed.  The ideal audience will include multidisciplinary teams, including: Site & District Administrators, Gen Ed & Special Ed Teachers, School Psychs, SLPs, OTs, and Paraprofessionals.

This training will focus on inclusive education and best practices for educating students with disabilities in inclusive settings.  Topics discussed will focus on how to utilize research-based practices to develop and implement programs that encourage learning and growth for all students, including, but not limited to: inclusive education programs models, effective planning and collaboration, identifying the demands within the learning environment, understanding each learner's needs, accommodations versus modifications, differentiation and universal design.
