For public school staff in Santa Clarita Valley.

In this two-day nonviolent crisis intervention course you will learn to respond to various levels of crisis behavior by managing your attitude and reactions in order to influence a positive outcome.  Develop limit-setting strategies and strengthen nonverbal communication skills.  Explore the Physical Skills Review Framework and practice both non-restrictive and restrictive interventions to ensure a safe resolution.
