Before the Behavior: Tools for Supporting Every Student 
Paraeducators play a critical role in supporting student success across all levels of special education. This interactive training focuses on practical, evidence-based strategies that help prevent challenging behavior, support learning, and strengthen teamwork—strategies you can use right away in any classroom.
Participants will gain tools to:

• Understand why behavior happens and how to respond proactively
• Use evidence-based behavior strategies to reduce escalation
• Support instruction while promoting student independence
• Adapt strategies for mild, moderate, and extensive support needs
• Communicate effectively with teachers and school teams

You will leave with ready-to-use behavior strategies, practical instructional support tools, scripts you can actually use, and increased confidence supporting students and teams.
