Join the CAPTAIN cadre, with this full-day training that will provide participants with practicalinstruction and hands-on practice in two evidence-based practices: prompting and reinforcement.Prompting and reinforcement are foundational practices that help students learn new skills, increaseindependence, and experience success across classroom routines. While these are evidence-basedpractices for autistic students, they are also effective instructional strategies that can support a widerange of learners. 

The day will be divided into two focused sections, with half the day dedicated to prompting and halfthe day dedicated to reinforcement. Participants will learn how to implement these strategieseffectively, practice applying them to classroom scenarios, and create ready-to-use supports andmaterials to bring back to their school teams. This training is designed to help participants leave withthe tools, confidence, and practical strategies needed to begin using prompting and reinforcement inthe classroom right away.
